CA’RUGATE (Amarone della Valpolicella)
Ca'Rugate vineyard estate was created by the Tessari family in the early 19th century. In the late 80's, Amedeo and Giovanni have created the brand name: Ca'Rugate. It is inspired from the name of the hill where the vines are located. The domain name has appeared for the first time in 1986. The Garganega grape variety was introduced in 1999. In 2001, the fourth generation of the family joined the management team.
The main grape variety of the vineyard is now the Garganega that allows to produce the Soave Classico, which is a sweet raisined wine. The vineyard also produces red grapes used to produce the Valpolicella, the Valpolicella Superiore and the exceptional Amarone. Inside the vineyard, they combine modern techniques while respecting nature by limiting the use of non-natural products.
