Torre di Giano Riserva 2009 "BIANCO DI TORGIANO" DOC - Lungarotti
Grechetto is a local variety of Umbria. It is characterized by a more or less intense straw yellow color tending towards golden yellow after aging, slightly vinous nose, delicate and fruity, velvety, slightly bitter but smooth. This wine is more structured than its "little brother". The plots used for the preparation of Grecante are listed in DOC Colli Martani. The Grecante goes well with fish dishes, mussels, oysters, seafood, pasta (sauce cream or seafood) and white meat (chicken, veal, pork).

2008 was generally a good vintage in Italy and in the major regions of production. The wines are frank and well-constructed. They are tasty, and net francs. The white wines will appreciate faster than red wines. At best, the wines take long but overall they boirent under 10 years.
