Morey would take its name from a mountain-shaped snout ""Moure"" pre-Latin, which stands in the southeast. The first mention of Morey appeared in 1120. That is, with just under 100 hectares, one of the smallest appellations of the Côte de Nuits. The plot of Morey-St-Denis Domain Drouhin Laroze 0.18 hectare, planted in 1946, is located in the high part of the locality ""In Très Girard"". This appellation is high in new oak barrels and ""d a wine "", whose wood comes from Allier and Nivernais. the area favors heaters"" soft ""to"" average plus ""to get a perfect harmony between wine and wood tannins. Her dress is d a deep garnet tones with purple highlights in the youth of this appellation. the bouquet, between black fruit, cassis, blueberry and red fruit core, coated with a touch of vanilla, gives way to a chair with vinous fruity tannins , melted and harmonious woody. Morey-Saint-Denis offers a dainty style, balanced between strength of body and the expression of the fruit.

Vintage Description

The exceptionally warm and sunny weather of the first week of September allowed an early harvest. Some red wines have also carried the imprint of a bloated vintage consecutive dilution printing lacks substance , while retaining that essential quality that makes the charm of their youth : the flexibility and fruity. These wines have given the best of themselves after a few years in bottle . The Chardonnay was able to renew the miracle of 1973 by offering unexpected success in terms of the abundance of the harvest. From a young age, these white wines appeared soft and charming and knew it stay throughout their evolution. They reached their peak and should be consumed except for some wines , which may hold some surprises for some years .
