The exceptionally warm and sunny weather of the first week of September allowed an early harvest. Some red wines have also carried the imprint of a bloated vintage consecutive dilution printing lacks substance , while retaining that essential quality that makes the charm of their youth : the flexibility and fruity. These wines have given the best of themselves after a few years in bottle . The Chardonnay was able to renew the miracle of 1973 by offering unexpected success in terms of the abundance of the harvest. From a young age, these white wines appeared soft and charming and knew it stay throughout their evolution. They reached their peak and should be consumed except for some wines , which may hold some surprises for some years .
