Chateau La Tour de Mons 1989 - Margaux Cru Bourgeois Superieur
With a history of several centuries, the Château La Tour de Mons is a property of a single holding, real Clos, established in the northern part of the appellation Margaux, on the banks of the Garonne, as the greatest Crus Médoc. Several generations have passed on this land since the beginning of the castle in the thirteenth century. Its many owners, we note Pierre de Mons, who comes into possession of the estate in 1623 and gave it its name. The estate will belong to his descendants until the end of the twentieth century.

An exceptional vintage with a harvest that exceeded all performance records. Of near-perfect weather conditions, combined with extremely early harvest (the second after those of 1893) helped to develop mature wines, perfect concentration, with velvety tannins. Powerful and highly alcoholic (up to 14 ° 5 for some Pomerol), most of these wines come with a great aging potential. The dry whites are complex. The sweet prove further and richness unconventional.
