An exceptional vintage for sweet. For reds and dry whites, the vintage is good, probably better than in 1988 and 1995. Too mild winter followed by a July too rainy, generates a late vintage. The harvest took place until mid-October for the red, and all the grapes have not ripened. 2001 is a classic vintage in 2000 most tannic and long aging. The heterogeneity is larger also, it must be selective. The dry whites are superb. Most of them combine acidity, richness and maturity of the fruit. In reds, Saint-Emilion are exceptional, perhaps better than in 2000. Pessac-Leognan is distinguished by a perfect balance. In the Medoc, Cabernet Sauvignon does not always reach its optimum maturity. We note some beautiful successes in Saint-Estephe and Pauillac, greater selectivity is needed in Margaux. Rich, complex and balanced, Sauternes are sublime, probably one of the greatest vintages for over the last 100 years. Google Traduction pour les entreprises :Google Kit du traducteurGadget TraductionO
