Pesto Verde Genovese - 170gr
The term pesto comes from pestare which means to mash. Our pestos are prepared out of protected and labeled of origin basil from Liguria. Prepared from traditional receipts, they are made of basil, cheese (pecorino & grana padano for the green, pecorino for the red), walnuts, olive oil and tomatoes for the red pesto. The salsa is prepared by hand in Italy. It can be eaten on roasted bread, with traditional pasta (mezze maniche), on a risotto, to stuff meat or fish, to garnish your quiches or salads.
